ABOUT MEGAN PELKOWITZ

Megan is a dedicated occupational therapist with a special interest in Paediatrics.

She graduated with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy in 2011 and subsequently completed her community service year in Eshowe, KwaZulu-Natal. She has experience in functional capacity evaluations, adult neuro-rehabilitation, and school-based therapy.

She has been working in private practice (Paediatrics) since 2014, when she completed her Masters in Occupational Therapy (Paediatrics, Down Syndrome) through the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal. She is trained in Sensory Integration, EASI, DIR Floortime, Makaton, and the Prechtl General Movement Assessment.

Megan's special interests are in a variety of paediatric conditions including developmental delays, sensory integration difficulties, down syndrome, autism spectrum disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, behavioural difficulties, and visual perceptual difficulties.

She recently had a son and loves spending time with him.

Her passion has and always will be working with children, caregivers, teachers and the allied team to help the child reach their full potential.
