My Miracle Baby: IVF Saved Us
"Where I grew up, not many kids make it out... gangsterism, drugs, it's rough… My Journey with IVF is not the only miracle I am grateful for today... this could have been far worse for me"
Candice Williams, Mrs Universe-South Africa 2025, is our guest this week. She is a prominent advocate for IVF. Today she reflects on the difficult road she had to endure, just to be able to give birth to her own baby.
Her story is a remarkable insight into the mental and physical challenges that many women deal with, to have a baby. Not taking it for granted.
A walking miracle. This is the true story of a beauty Queen.

ABOUT CANDICE WILLIAMS
My name is Candice Williams, a 34-year-old from Pretoria, and I am honored to hold the title of Mrs. Universe South Africa 2025. This October, I will proudly represent South Africa at the Mrs. Universe pageant.
Beyond the crown, I am deeply committed to using my platform to advocate for domestic abuse victims—being a voice for the voiceless. I serve as an ambassador and activist, driven by a personal mission rooted in compassion, purpose, and lived experience.
Since entering the pageant world, my "why" has remained steadfast: I want to be the face of infertility. I am a proud mother to a son conceived through IVF. My journey has taught me that while someone may appear whole on the outside, they may still be healing on the inside. But in time—God’s time, not ours—that healing will come. Patience and faith are key.
I am also the founder and CEO of Rahab Beauty Foundation, launched in 2025. Our mission is to establish a safe haven for abused women and children in Pretoria East, where healing and restoration can truly begin.
