Child Cancer Awareness Support

One of the most important times for us to support other parents is when childhood cancer is involved.

And if you’ve ever wondered how you can help, then this is for you!

There are so many organisations and programmes offering support to families when a child has cancer, and they need our support both during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and every other time of the year.

Surgeons for Little Lives is one such organisation which is run by a small group of Paediatric Surgeons and ordinary people, all passionate about uplifting the lives of less fortunate children needing life-changing surgery when it comes to cancer and other life-threatening conditions.

Their objective is to raise the level of care given to patients in the Paediatric Surgery wards in state hospitals to world-class standards.

We chatted to Prof. Loveland, chairman this very special non-profit organisation – and we find out how we can make a difference this Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.

The Baby Brunch parenting platform donated R10 000 towards this foundation. But there are a number of ways that you can show your support, too.
